MWP SITE PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) introduced by the European Commission becomes effective on May 25, 2018 and as such, MWP recognizes the need to protect the personal data of its website visitors and the information they may share with us and that allow you to identify or be identifiable as the holder of them and, as an organization, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
MWP takes the trust you place in us seriously; MWP will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties (we only store it in our database and, eventually, we will share it internally and only when strictly necessary).
This Privacy Policy Notice (“Policy”) is designed to inform holders of personal data (users who visit our website) about privacy practices, describing the personal information we collect, the choices they can make about how their information is collected, how this information is used or disclosed, so that MWP can assist you and/or enter into a business relationship, including providing you with information about our requested products or services.
At any time you can contact MWP about any questions/concerns related to your privacy by sending an email to the DPO (Data Protection Officer at MWP). You can also ask, at any time, to see the personal data we have on file about you and request a correction or deletion.
At MWP, as an organization, we encourage you to read this Policy before using our website or submitting any personal data. By registering on our website or submitting any information through the use of or access to the website, you agree to the terms of this Policy and consent to the policies and practices described herein.
WHAT ARE PERSONAL DATA?
Personal Data means any information of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (person in question). Any person who can be identified directly or indirectly, namely by reference to an identification number or to more specific elements of their physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity, is considered identifiable.
WHO IS IT?
Data Controller – The natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data; is the entity that makes decisions about processing activities.
Data Processor – The natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller.
MWP is a Data Controller, but sometimes it may also be a Data Processor and in other cases it may be both.
DPO – Data Protection Officer – In charge of Data Protection, is responsible for privacy in the organization.

Personal Information is information associated with your name, address, mobile or telephone number, email address, educational and employment history, relevant job data.

HOW DOES MWP SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES?
MWP may employ Third Parties to assist in collecting, maintaining and administering your website visitor information, to sign subscriptions and other requests, and/or to communicate with your website visitors.
MWP does not authorize any of these Third Parties to make any other use of your information. MWP requires that Third Parties to whom you disclose personal information restrict the use of that information solely for the purposes for which it was transmitted by MWP and not disclose that information to others.
However, MWP cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by the failure of unaffiliated Third Parties to honor their privacy obligations to MWP.
If there are circumstances where, whether for strategic or commercial reasons, MWP decides to sell, buy, merge or reorganize businesses in certain countries, such transaction may involve disclosing personal information to potential or actual buyers, or receiving it from sellers. It is MWP’s practice to adequately protect information in these types of transactions, should any business opportunity arise.

withdraw consent at any time; - request access (users have the right to request a copy of their personal data being processed; there will be situations where the data subject can access their information easily online and others where they will need to do so in writing to the DPO);
- request rectification (to correct inaccurate information);
to erase (in addition to your request, Data Controllers must also erase personal data if: the data is no longer necessary; if the data subject objects to the processing or if the processing is unlawful); - be forgotten (you can request the deletion of personal data and, if the Data Controller has disclosed the data, demand that other Data Controllers also comply with the request);
- restrict processing (you have the right to “restrict processing” for as long as necessary to verify that the information is correct, if you dispute its accuracy);
to “Big Data” data portability (personal data in a commonly used format can be transferred to another Data Controller if so requested; aims to increase the user’s choice of online services; only applies to personal data provided to a Data Controller, where processing is based on the individual’s consent or for the performance of a contract and where processing is carried out by automated means); - object to processing (to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in addition to the data subject’s right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent);
- not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

If MWP has personal information about you, it will provide you with a readable copy of that personal information at no charge. Factual errors in your personal information, including information that is out of date, may be corrected by sending us a request with sufficient detail about how your personal information should be corrected. HOW DOES MWP PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
You can be assured that personal information collected by the MWP website is secure and maintained in a manner consistent with industry standards. The importance of security for all personal information associated with our visitors is of utmost concern to MWP. Your personal information is protected in several ways; they reside on a secure server, which only some MWP members and other subcontractors have access to via a password. MWP encrypts your personal information and prevents unauthorized persons from viewing such information when it is passed to MWP.
However, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be considered 100% secure. Therefore, while MWP strives to protect your personal information, please recognize that:
(a) there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet beyond our control;

MWP’S COMMITMENT TO CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
MWP takes children’s privacy seriously. It never collects or maintains information on our website from people it knows to be under the age of 13, and no part of our website is designed to attract anyone under the age of 13. Please do not contact us if you are under 13 years of age.
CHANGES TO POLICY
As MWP continues to develop its website and leverage new technologies to improve it, this Policy will likely change.
MWP reserves the right to change or modify this Policy at any time, without prior notice. Therefore, MWP encourages you to review this Policy on an ongoing basis so that you are aware of its current terms. Information about material changes to this Policy will be posted on the MWP website.
